Tomasz Dietl is professor and a head of Laboratory for Cryogenic and Spintronic Research at the Institute of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences and professor of The Institute of Theoretical Physics at University of Warsaw. He received his PhD and his Habilitation in the Polish Academy of Sciences. His research interests include semiconductors, spintronics and nanotechnology. With over 20,000 citations he is considered one of the leading Polish physicists.
